Our second-act careers are certainly a new and extended career stage, but they also represent what financial planner Justin Smith calls a “Victory Lap.” After building expertise, successes (and maybe some failures along the way), and learning invaluable lessons, it’s time at this point in our lives to claim our value.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We’re not so much striving to prove ourselves as to apply all that we know in more effective and more helpful ways. By establishing a clear value proposition and delivering measurable results, our Victory Lap is our ability to uplift and inspire others to create their own successes.<\/p>\n
