aarp.jobs.expertAARP presents its next Virtual Career Fair (VCF) on Tuesday, June 9, from 9 am – 1 pm CT, featuring at least 20 Life Reimagined for Work* Pledge organizations.

At least 20 organizations such as AT&T, American Red Cross, BB&T, Blue Buffalo, AlliedBarton, and Optum will connect with experienced workers through their virtual booths.   Job seekers can chat with recruiters, submit their résumés, view job openings, and tap into on-site resources. There will also be scheduled chats where attendees can pose questions and get job search tips from AARP Jobs/Work Expert Kerry Hannon, Laura Bos, and Jen Lee Reeves.

This event builds on the success of last year’s VCFs, which attracted nearly 8,000 attendees and 26 best employers pledge signers.

Can’t make it on June 9th?  The Virtual Career Fair will be available on-demand for 30 days following the live event.

* Life Reimagined for Work is AARP’s national effort to help employers solve their current and future staffing challenges and direct job seekers to employers that are hiring and value experienced workers. Participating employers have signed the following Pledge:

“We believe in equal opportunity for all workers, regardless of age, and that 50+ workers should have a level playing field in their ability to compete for and obtain jobs. Recognizing the value of experienced workers, we pledge to recruit across diverse age groups and to consider all applicants on an equal basis as we hire for positions within our organization.”
